Saba Douglas-Hamilton joins the Sami people of Lapland for a journey of a lifetime.

This passionate, committed natural history presenter takes part in the ‘reindeer roundup’, an ancient tradition going back thousands of years. Not only is it one of the Arctic’s greatest wildlife spectacles, but it is also the Sami’s annual audit. The reindeer represent all the Sami’s wealth – if the herd is strong the Sami are strong and if the herd is weak the Sami are in trouble. Over seven gruelling days and nights Saba helps the tribe with their annual migration and learns to live and think like a Sami. Will the ’roundup’ be a success?
