Location Scout for a Hollywood movie in minus 18°C and storms.

Morten Hilmer is on Svalbard doing location scouting with PolarX for an upcoming Hollywood film. His job on this trip is to film the locations from a drone: “On this trip, I am flying my Mavic 3 drone in extreme conditions. The wind is howling, and the temperatures are below minus 18°C. We are also using smaller boats, but some locations are out of reach and then the drone is the best tool for the job.

This location is simply perfect for landscape photography, but unfortunately, I do not have much time to do that. PolarX is a company working with all the big film names like Disney, BBC, National Geographic and Netflix, and it is a pleasure working with these guys – I really learn a lot.”
