They have lost many skirmishes, battles and fights, suffered huge losses, and have been completely exterminated in some parts of the world.
But they have not capitulated.
Against all odds, they persist in sparsely inhabited, hard-to-reach areas of Asia, North America and Europe. On our continent, wolf enclaves still exist in Eastern Europe, including the Baltic countries. In Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, predators hide in forests that cover about one third of the local landscape. Intelligent, strong and team-working animals can adapt to difficult situations and face the most difficult challenges.
They have centuries of experience in this.
